In searching for a shot of the French cycling team's Peugeot 505 support wagons from the 80's (which I couldnt find, damn), I came across this pic of the legendary Eddie Merckx, with a VW Type 3 cabriolet (?!), a pagoda benz, and a support split window bus. Too damn cool not to post here

But you're right: They're hard to find in English. Try to google in French ('equipe', 'velo') or to search for the teams who had the 505s (e.g. Groupe sportif Peugeot-Michelin-Shell).
